About the Liberia Economic Intelligence Platform
The Liberia Economic Intelligence Platform (LEIP) is a research-grade analytics platform that consolidates the economic intelligence of the Republic of Liberia into a single, accessible workspace. It brings together macroeconomic indicators, sector-level performance data, trade and investment flows, banking and finance statistics, government expenditure, private-sector and NGO contributions, and county-level health and vital statistics — spanning all fifteen counties and nine core economic sectors, from mining and agriculture to manufacturing and trade.
The platform is built for investors, financial analysts, policymakers, development partners, researchers, and journalists who need a reliable, centralized view of Liberia's economy. It equips them with interactive dashboards, sector and county comparisons, trend forecasting, automated alerts, and exportable research-grade reports, so they can move from raw data to informed decisions without stitching together scattered sources.
LEIP is built and maintained by the platform team. Data is drawn from the national institutions with a legal mandate to produce it — the Central Bank of Liberia, the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning, LISGIS, the Liberia Revenue Authority, and the sector ministries and agencies — and cross-checked against multilateral publications from the IMF, the World Bank, the African Development Bank, the United Nations system, the FAO, UNESCO and the ITU. Each figure carries its publishing institution and reporting period, so it can be traced back to its origin and judged with confidence.

Every figure carries the institution that publishes it and the period it covers, so it can be traced back to its origin. National statistics come from the Liberian institutions with a legal mandate to produce them; where a domestic series is incomplete or delayed, it is cross-checked against multilateral publications. Figures the platform derives or models are labelled as estimates or forecasts and are shown separately from published data.
